Alloa Athletic - Brechin City Match Preview
Brechin City will travel through to Alloa for tomorrow's league fixture in good heart following their 2-0 victory over Stranraer last Saturday. Manager Darren Dods was really pleased with his players desire and commitment against the Blues and he will looking for a repeat against the Wasps who have incredibly won only one match since they defeated City 1-0 at the Glebe way back in mid October, Jason Marr scoring the decisive goal that day with just over twenty minutes remaining.
As has been the case for the last few weeks, the City boss has more than a few injury concerns to contend with. James Dale who went for a scan this week remains sidelined as does Andy Jackson while Chris O'Neil is still a week or two away from returning to action. Darren McCormack who was stretchered off in last Saturday's match is also a definite non-starter while goalkeeper Graeme Smith who also had to leave the field against Stranraer is rated at 50/50. Gareth Rodger's shoulder injury has shown signs of improvement this week but his prospects are also rated at no more than 50/50 by the manager while fellow defender Elliot Ford will be serving the final game of his two-match suspension.
