Airdrieonians - Brechin City Match Preview
Brechin City boss Darren Dods will have a fully fit squad from which to choose his team for tomorrow's visit to Excelsior Stadium to face Airdrieonians.
Despite the loss against league leaders Livingston last weekend, the manager was pleased with the attitude, work-rate and commitment of his players so it remains to be seen whether or not he will make any changes to the team that started against Livi and also against East Fife the previous week.
With the Diamonds sitting just two points behind City and with four matches remaining after tomorrow, a victory would be hugely welcome and would keep City in the driving seat for a play-off place as the season edges towards it's finale but the game is also a crucial one for the hosts who would not want to fall five points behind if City were to come out on top.
City faced Mark Wilson's men a few weeks back winning comfortably at Glebe Park by 3-0 but the previous encounter between the sides at Excelsior Stadium in mid November ended 1-0 in the hosts' favour and they will approach the match determined to achieve a repeat of that outcome.
