Player Movement at The Glebe

Brechin City joined the January transfer window action with one player going out on loan and another joining The Club on loan the eve of the journey to Dumfries to face Queen of the South.
Joining former club Airdrieonians is defender Chris O’Neil, who returns to The Excelsior Stadium in search of first team football having featured on only half a dozen or so occasions for City this season, his most recent start being against Dunfermline Athletic at The Glebe in September. Chris did of course score City’s first Championship goal in some 11 years when he got himself on the scoresheet at Queen of the South during the opening league game of the season in August.
Joining City on a Development Loan from Hearts for the second half of the season is 18-year-old Callumn Morrison. The pacy striker spent the first half of the season with League Two side Stirling Albion, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances. Callumn also spent time last season with the Forthbank side, having made a couple of substitute appearances for the Hearts first team the season prior.
