The curtain comes down on a long and difficult season in the SPFL Championship for City as they take on Queen of the South at Glebe Park tomorrow afternoon.
As has been well documented, City are yet to register a win in the league this season and Darren Dods' side only have another 90 minutes of Championship football left to break their duck against the Doonhamers.
TEAM NEWS
Dylan Mackin returns to the side after missing out against Livi
On-loan striker Dylan Mackin comes back into contention after being unable to take part against his parent club Livingston last weekend. Gary Fusco will also be available for selection after missing the last 3 games through injury.
Jordan Sinclair and Euan Spark haven't recovered from injury in time for the game and will join long term absentees Andy Jackson, Ryan McGeever and Craig Storie in the stand.
MATCH OFFICIALS
The man in the middle this weekend is Steven Kirkland who will be assisted by Daniel McFarlane and Ross MacLeod. The last time Kirkland officiated a City game was in the 6-1 mauling by Alloa at the tail end of last season where he issued a red card to City keeper Graeme Smith.

LAST TIME OUT
Despite going in at the break level, City slipped to a 3-0 defeat against a Livingston side who ensured they would finish as runners up to St Mirren.
The Doonhamers meanwhile recorded an impressive 3-0 victory against an on-form Dundee United side at Palmerston.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
Chris O'Neil netted City's first goal of the season on the opening day at Palmerston but it was to no avail as City went down 4-1 to the Doonhamers.
5th August 2017 - Queen of the South 4-1 Brechin City
The two sides met on the opening day of the season at Palmerston. A City side hit hard with injuries and suspensions struggled against the Doonhamers and found themselves three goals down after an hour. A close range finish from Chris O’Neil gave City brief hope but Lyndon Dykes wrapped up the win for the home side in what was a tough introduction to life in the Championship for City.
21st October 2017 - Brechin City 0-1 Queen of the South
In the reverse fixture at Glebe Park, Queens edged out City as Jason Kerr netted the solitary goal on the hour mark. Despite there being only one goal in the game, it was a thoroughly entertaining encounter with chances aplenty at both ends. Referee Craig Charleston hadn’t issued a single card all game up until stoppage time where an unsavoury incident saw both Ally Love and goalscorer Jason Kerr dismissed for a clash on the touchline.
27th January 2018 - Queen of the South 3-1 Brechin City
In the most recent clash between the sides, ex Hibs and Blackpool striker Stephen Dobbie proved too hot to handle as he bagged a hat-trick against City at Palmerston. A goal five minutes from time by Kalvin Orsi proved to be little more than a consolation for City.
