Brechin City FC have confirmed that BARRY SMITH has been appointed as Manager.

The 44-year-old is no stranger to City fans, having made 60 appearances for The Club from February 2009 to October 2010.

Barry has had managerial experience with Dundee, Alloa Athletic and Aldershot Town, and was more recently in charge of East Fife and then Raith Rovers.

The Club has also confirmed that current coach and another former City player, STEVIE CAMPBELL has been appointed as Assistant Manager.

The Club congratulates both Barry and Stevie on their appointments, and wishes them every success.
