Brechin City FC can confirm that highly rated St Johnstone goalkeeper Ross Sinclair has joined the club on a season long loan deal.

Sinclair has been involved in the Saints' youth set up since 2003 when he signed from his local club Scone Thistle.

The 18 year-old stopper, who has also represented Scotland at Under-18 level, had a loan spell at Lowland League side BSC Glasgow last season and Saints boss Tommy Wright has tipped the youngster to have a bright future in the game.

Manager Barry Smith commented, "Ross is highly thought of at St Johnstone and he will give us good competition in the goalkeeper area."
