St Johnstone Preview - By Steven Mew

City take on St Johnstone at Glebe Park later on this afternoon in what is a must win match for the away side. Meanwhile, Michael O'Neill will be in the dugout for his first match as manager of Brechin City.

St Mirren have looked comfortable at the top throughout the season but as the campaign draws to a close St Johnstone have been on a rich vein of form which has seen them go 11 games unbeaten in the league. In fact, the Saints haven't lost in the league this calendar year, as their last defeat came against Airdrie on Hogmanay at New Broomfield. Saints manager Owen Coyle is hoping to keep the pressure on St Mirren at the top of the table, who face a tricky match against Ross County in Dingwall.

City may be on the verge of relegation but the remaining matches will allow Michael O'Neill to assess the squad and decide who he wishes to keep or to let go at the start of the next season. City only need to drop one more point before they are officially relegated, regardless of the outcome of Stranraer's match against Dundee at Stair Park.

Michael O'Neill has almost a full squad to choose from, apart from former Saint Gary Bollan who has a cartilage injury. St Johnstone meanwhile have three doubts for the match who will all face late tests to determine whether they can play. Darren Sheridan, Goran Stanic and Ryan Stevenson are the doubts for the visitors.

Brechin City Supporters are asked to note that a strict segregation policy will be in force for todays match with St Johnstone.

All home support must enter and exit the ground from the Cemetery Road End. Stewards and Policy will be instructed to move any suspected home support to the Cemetery Road end of the ground.

The Management Committee accepts that home support will suffer some inconvenience with these arrangements, however in the interests of safety and control it is deemed necessary to take such action.
