Mark Wilson has made his first signing as City Manager with the addition of midfielder Paul Allan on loan from Dunfermline Athletic until January. Paul will go straight into the squad for this afternoons match against Elgin City.

The 19 year old is a graduate of the Fife Elite Academy and although primarily a central midfielder, he has the versatility to play a number of other positions.

He is described by his coaches as a "clever and composed footballer for his age" and has previously been out on loan at Stenhousemuir and Hill of Beath. Paul has been involved with the Pars first team squad this season - making two appearances in the Betfred Cup.

Mark Wilson said, "We are delighted to get Paul and he is a player that Dunfermline rate highly. He played for the first team in the group stage of the Betfred Cup in which he impressed. He is a holding midfield player but can also play centre half or right back but predominantly we see him as a midfielder.

"He has plenty energy, is comfortable on the ball and has a good range of passing. He is looking to improve himself and Dunfermline will be keeping a close eye as, after speaking to their staff, they have high hopes for him.

"Dunfermline currently have a strong midfield so he needs to get out and play. He certainly has the attributes to be a top player for us - loans for these players can be the making of them as they are getting the experience of playing a competitive league. He is a welcome addition and will also help us in terms of numbers for today's match.
