Brechin City FC can confirm that winger Jamie Reid has departed the club, with his contract being terminated by mutual consent.

The 25 year old, who hails from Dundee, signed for City from Lochee United in the Summer having impressed as a trialist in pre-season.

Often owing to injury, Jamie's game-time has been limited at Glebe Park. He featured in all of the Betfred Cup group stage matches but after picking up an injury against Albion Rovers in late August, he has made just one substitute appearance.

The club would like to thank Jamie for his efforts and wish him well for the future.
