Brechin City's "Freed' midfielder, Ally Mitchell, has returned to the club where it all began for him in 1988 East Fife.

'Bull' has joined Dave Baikie's side for their assault on the Third Division championship, which they will undoubtedly hope that the vastly experienced player will play a pivitol role in.

Ally's three years at Brechin include a championship win and an appearance in a game in which he and his City team-mates helped defeat old club Kilmarnock in the CIS Cup. This was the first time Brechin had ever beaten SPL opposition.
