The Club is delighted to confirm the loan signing of Northern Ireland youth internationalist Chris McKee on loan from Rangers FC until the end of the season.

The highly rated striker recently signed an extension to his contract at Ibrox at the tail end of last year and has enjoyed a fruitful campaign with the Gers' B team managed by Kevin Thomson and Brian Gilmour. His impressive goalscoring form saw him rewarded with a call up to the Northern Ireland U21 squad, having already represented his country at U17 and U19 level.

Under the watchful eye of City Manager Michael Paton, Chris demonstrated his quality in a bounce match for Rangers against City back in November where he scored twice and set up another.

Michael Paton commented, "Chris is a promising young talent who has a real eye for goal. He's exactly what we are looking for upfront - he will bring a lot of energy and quality. There was a lot of interest in Chris and we're delighted that he decided that Brechin City was a place to come and progress his career and it'll help us improve our league position. I'm excited to see Chris in a City top and we're looking forward to having him on board."
