Social Media Boycott

Brechin City will unite with clubs across Scotland for a social media boycott this weekend.
This SFA and SPFL supported initiative is in response to racist and personal abuse aimed at players, staff and supporters and everyone at Brechin City is fully behind this boycott.
SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster said: "Discrimination of any kind has absolutely no place in Scottish football and the online abuse received by some of those involved in our national game is absolutely abhorrent. The SPFL is committed to ensuring that Scottish football is inclusive and welcoming to all."
Abusing someone because of the colour of their skin will never be acceptable and we must all stand together and defeat this hateful behaviour which inflicts so much harm on those who are on the receiving end.
Brechin City, along with other clubs, will leave their social media accounts dormant from 15:00 on Friday, April 30 until 23:59 on Monday, May 3. During this time, any Club updates will be released through our website - www.brechincity.com
