Match Preview | Brechin City v Kelty Hearts - By Steven Mew

For the first time in 14 months, there will be the hugely welcome sight of home supporters at Glebe Park for the second leg of the League 2 Playoff Final against Kelty Hearts tomorrow afternoon.

The recent loosening of restrictions has come at the perfect time - allowing 250 fans the opportunity to back the side in what is a hugely important game in the Clubs history.

Despite a narrow 2-1 defeat against the Fife outfit at New Central Park on Tuesday, it's still very much all to play for tomorrow afternoon as Michael Paton's side chase a positive result which would see them avoid relegation from the SPFL.

MANAGERS COMMENTS
Player/Manager Michael Paton commented, "The tie is very much still alive. I think the boys were a wee bit nervous to start with on Tuesday but we regrouped at half time and came out a lot better in the second half. We limited them to very few chances and I felt we finished as the stronger team.

"Before the game, it was great to have the 10 days to work with the players and work on set pieces - and our goal came from one that we worked on.

"It is still in our grasp and if we can start well on Sunday, there's no reason why we can't go on to win it.

"Having the fans there will be absolutely massive and they will be like a 12th man. I'm excited for the boys to see just how much support and belief surrounds the club."
