MATCHDAY INFORMATION - By Steven Mew

The Club is very much looking forward to welcoming 250 home spectators for this afternoon's Playoff Final against Kelty Hearts.

Attendance is strictly limited to pre-booked season ticket holders, sponsors and officials. Please note that there is no capacity for away supporters or Brechin City FC non-season ticket holders. Kelty Hearts fans should not travel to the game.

The club hopes supporters will realise that, due to covid restrictions, the match day experience will be completely different from normal, and we would ask supporters to comply fully with the guidance that the club has had to follow as a result.

Can we ask everyone to be patient with what are challenging conditions for hosting a football match. We would also ask tolerance with stewards and staff who are there to make this a safe environment for all under current guidelines.

• Supporters must complete a covid declaration form. These can be downloaded from the club's website - COVID DECLARATION FORM. There will also be the opportunity to complete a form at the Glebe from 2pm this afternoon. These forms should then be handed to the gate checkers on entry to the ground.

• There will be four turnstiles in operation, two at the Trinity End of the ground for those supporters who wish to sit in the David Will Stand or take a place on the Hedge Side Terracing and two at the Cemetery End for those who wish to stand in the covered enclosure at the bottom end of the ground.

• Seats in the David H Will stand will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

• Only seats marked with a green tick can be used.

• For avoidance of doubt, the Centre Stand will not be available to supporters as this is now ‘red zone’ and set aside to accommodate substitutes from both teams.

• Spectators choosing to stand should be aware of the socially distanced markings on the terracing.

• To allow safe entry to the ground, and avoid log jams, the turnstiles will be open from 2:00pm, with last entry at 2:45pm.

• Stewards will be available on the day to assist identifying unoccupied spaces.

• Temperature checks will take place before entry to the ground.

• Season tickets should be shown to the gate checkers who will have an updated season ticket list for cross referencing.

• Masks must be worn at all times inside the ground.

• There will be no car parking facilities at the ground.

• There will be no refreshment facilities available.

• No Hospitality – including the City Club and Platinum Lounge.

• Portaloos will be situated at both ends of the ground.

• Spectators should be aware that movement inside the ground will be restricted so suitable clothing, to take into account weather conditions, should be worn.

Whist the club appreciates that these are challenging times, both on and off the park, we hope that everyone at the Glebe, especially the players, can count on your full support, and that despite the restrictions we are having to impose in these most unprecedented of times, your long-awaited return to the Glebe will be an enjoyable experience.
