City Manager Andy Kirk has added another experienced head to his side with the signing of full-back Jamie Bain.

As a youngster, Jamie started his senior career at his hometown club Airdrieonians where he made over 200 appearances. He made the switch to Forfar Athletic in 2016 where he was a mainstay in the Loons' side over 4 years, helping them to a League 1 playoff win over Peterhead in his first season.

The 29 year-old was most recently with Clyde and is closing in on 400 appearances in the SPFL, most of which at League 1 level.

Jamie has been training with the Club during pre-season and featured in the friendly win over Forfar Athletic last week.

Manager Andy Kirk said, "Jamie has got good experience in the game and at 29 he is still young and has a lot to offer. He played for us in the friendly against Forfar and was excellent.

"I know the qualities he brings to the side. He's got the right attitude and wants to help us push forward and achieve."
