The Club is pleased to confirm the signing of experienced goalkeeper Iain Ross as a player/coach whilst defender Aidan Quinn joins on a short-term loan from Montrose.
Both players featured in our matchday squad yesterday evening, with Quinn completing the full 90 minutes in the win over Formartine.
Ross, 37, joins the Club with considerable experience in the senior and junior game having represented Lochee, East Fife, Tayport, Broughty Athletic and Elgin City. He joins as goalkeeping coach whilst providing competition for on-loan St Johnstone stopper Jack Wills.
Manager Andy Kirk commented, "We've had been looking for someone who could do the coaching side whilst providing backup on the bench.
"We've taken a bit of time to find that person but we spoke to Iain who was enthusiastic and has a lot of experience behind him. It's a good opportunity for him and he's keen to keep himself fit and be available for us when required."
Centre half Quinn, who came through the well-renowned youth system at Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale, arrives at the Club on a temporary transfer from near neighbours Montrose. He captained East of Scotland league outfit Heriot Watt University for several years before signing for the Gable Endies in 2019.
