The Club is pleased to confirm the signing of another local player, this time in the shape of left sided defender Michael Cruickshank.

Similarly to Marc Scott, Michael resides just a couple of streets from Glebe Park and has been training with the Club over the last couple of weeks.

He has already made an appearance for City, having come on as a trialist in the Highland League fixture against Fraserburgh last month. He played 68 minutes after replacing the injured Murray Mackintosh midway through the first half.

Michael came through the various age groups with Brechin City Youths before playing for Luthermuir FC and Montrose Roselea. He was most recently with Carnoustie Panmure where he scooped Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year, Committee Player of the Year and Fans Player of the Year.
