Match Preview | Huntly v Brechin City - By Steven Mew

After a disappointing cup exit in midweek, City will now turn their attention back to the league as we travel to face Huntly at Christie Park tomorrow afternoon.

City's form has been mixed since the turn of the year and Andy Kirk's side will be looking to build momentum again as we approach the business end of the season.

City will come up against a Huntly outfit that currently sit in 12th position in the Highland League, with just 2 wins from their last 14 fixtures in all competitions.

ADMISSION INFORMATION
Admission prices at Christie Park are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

SUPPORTERS TRAVEL
The Supporters Club are running a coach to the match which will leave St Ninian's Square at 11:30am. The cost of the bus is just £10 per person - to book please text 07740 856565 or email dwalker@brechincity.com.

The Supporters' Club would encourage everyone to wear a mask where possible and to carry out a lateral flow test before boarding.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The match referee tomorrow will be Joel Kennedy, assisted by Will Adam and John Black.

PREVIOUS MEETING
Brechin City 1-0 Huntly - 9th October 2021
The last meeting between the sides saw City edge out the Black & Golds thanks to a goal early in the second half from Max Kucheriavyi. The on-loan Ukranian was quick to react after his initial penalty was saved by Tom Ritchie. Despite the narrow scoreline, it was a game in which City spurned a number of opportunities which would have made it a more comfortable afternoon, however they did more than enough to merit the 3 points.
