City gaffer Michael O'Neill has arranged 5 pre-season friendlies before the season gets underway.

These 5 friendlies are:

Thursday, July 13: Spartans (a)
Saturday, July 15: Montrose (h) TBC
Wednesday, July 19: Dundee (h)
Tuesday, July 25: St Johnstone (h)
Saturday, July 29: Hamilton (h)

When asked whether the lack of SPL opposition would be a problem, Michael said:

"I don't think it's a problem that we won't be facing Premier League opposition pre-season. Ideally we would have liked to have played SPL opposition at the end of the pre-season shedule but as the SPL gets underway before we do then it was always going to be a problem fixing up a match against one of the top teams. We do however have matches against Dundee, St Johnstone and Hamilton who are all full time teams so they will provide us with a stern test."
