The games continue to come thick and fast for City as they look to continue their recent fine run of form against Nairn County at Glebe Park tomorrow.
A solitary goal from Julian Wade was enough to see City emerge victorious from a gruelling fixture against Rothes in midweek, whilst Nairn were 4-0 winners against bottom side Fort William at Station Park.
The result at Mackessack Park made it 4 straight wins for City, whilst tomorrow's visitors have also enjoyed an upturn in form - winning their last three matches, scoring 10 goals in the process without conceding.
TEAM NEWS
City will be without the services of Murray Mackintosh and Kieran Inglis who both miss out through injury, although there is a chance that skipper Iain Davidson will be available again after missing out in midweek.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Looking back at the win over Rothes in midweek, Manager Andy Kirk said,
"Wednesday night was always going to be a different game against a stronger side in the league. It was a case of maintaining what we've been doing in terms of rolling our sleeves up and fighting for everything.
"We were a bit light on numbers but I thought the players attitude through the game was really good. We fought our corner and we were perhaps unlucky with a couple of breaks in the second half. I was pleased for the players, it's been a tough couple of weeks and three points and keeping the run going was the most important thing."
Up next for City tomorrow is the visit of Nairn County, with Andy adding,
"It's another game that we need to prepare in the right way for - we've set ourselves a challenge to win as many games as we can between now and the end of the season, if not all of them. Nairn have picked up recently and we're expecting a tough game but we're in a good place at the moment and I'm looking for us to keep our run going."

PREVIOUS MEETING
Nairn County 1-3 Brechin City - 11 September 2021
Despite being reduced to ten men early in the second half, City came away with a valuable win on the road against Nairn in September. First half goals from Max Kucheriavyi and Murray Mackintosh put City in a comfortable lead at the interval before Hamish Thomson was sent off early in the second half. This gave the home side hope and they pulled a goal back through Ciaran Young 8 minutes from time. City, however, wrapped up the points after 89 minutes as Julian Wade netted his first goal for the club.
SPONSORSHIP
Tomorrow's match sponsor is Blacks of Brechin whilst the matchball has been sponsored by Churchie Cabs. A huge thank you to these two prominent local businesses for their continued support.
