End of Season Awards - By Steven Mew

The End of Season Awards function took place in the City Club following Saturday's win against Fort William with club sponsors, volunteers, staff, management and players all in attendance.

The winners of the awards were as follows:

PLAYERS' PLAYER OF THE YEAR - JAMIE BAIN
As voted by his fellow peers, full-back Jamie Bain scooped the much coveted Players' Player of the Year award. Jamie has been a figure of consistency at the back over the course of the season and at the other end of the park, he has racked up many assists with his quality from crosses and dead ball situations.

SUPPORTERS PLAYER OF THE YEAR - MARC SCOTT
Following an outstanding debut season with his hometown club, winger Marc Scott was awarded the Supporters' Player of the Year. 'Marco' has tormented many defences over the course of the season with his direct style of play and has been an integral part of the team. He is currently second-top goalscorer for City this season with 17 goals, just one behind David Cox.

CLUBMAN OF THE YEAR - GRAEME YOUNGSON
With Graeme currently enjoying a well-earned holiday, the award was accepted on his behalf by Media Officer Steven Mew.

Graeme makes the journey from Aberdeen to both home and away matches to capture the action for our supporters on a voluntary basis. Nothing is ever too much for Graeme and he plays such an important role in the clubs Media Team.
We are hugely grateful not only for Graeme's input, but of all volunteers who give up their time and effort to assist the club.

Community Manager Clark Renilson added, "The award is thoroughly deserved. Graeme's commitment has been exemplary and the professionalism that he delivers allows the media team to provide a first class service for our supporters and club as a whole."

GOAL OF THE SEASON - MURRAY MACKINTOSH
There have been plenty of contenders this campaign, however Murray Mackintosh's fantastic strike in the Scottish Cup 3rd round replay against Darvel has been selected as goal of the season.
