Now that the dust has settled on our maiden Highland League campaign, everyone at Brechin City FC would like to thank all Highland League clubs who have have been hugely welcoming to our management, players, officials and supporters over the course of the season.

The Club were under no illusions as to the difficult challenge the Highland League would pose and plenty of positives can be taken from a season which saw City finish in 3rd place, finishing with an 11-match winning run. With many key players from the current squad retained for next season and contract negotiations ongoing, we look to continue the momentum into the 2022/23 campaign.

A big thank you to our staff and volunteers who continue to go above and beyond to help the club move forward. We are also hugely grateful for our fantastic supporters who have provided great backing and have travelled in such impressive numbers away from home throughout the season.

We would also like to take the opportunity to congratulate all at Fraserburgh Football Club who were crowned Highland League champions at the weekend following a pulsating season which went to the final day.

The Broch have shown remarkable consistency over the course of the season which saw them drop points on only 4 occasions in the league and we wish them well in their upcoming play-off ties against Lowland League champions Bonnyrigg Rose.
