Brechin City were delighted to host the Community Club open day yesterday with all the football clubs across the town coming together to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of Brechin City Youths.

With the addition of walking football, over 35's, two amateur teams, girls football and the membership of Brechin City FC and Brechin Victoria JFC - the recently formed Community Club came out in numbers to enjoy a fantastic day. This included the friendly match between Brechin City and Brechin Victoria JFC for the historical Americas Cup which was won by the hosts.

We would like to thank the Carnegie family (Carnegie Fuels Ltd) who were our guests for the day and sponsors of the Community Club new kit which will be worn by all age groups and participants. A truly fantastic gesture by a local family company.

We look forward to next year already as it is great to see the town coming together at such an event.
