The Club is delighted to announce that the contract of Manager Andy Kirk has been extended for a further two seasons, up to the summer of 2025.

The former Northern Irish international was initially appointed as Manager in June 2021 and was tasked with rebuilding City’s squad almost entirely from scratch following relegation from the SPFL.

With a new look side, Andy, along with Assistant Stephen Simmons led City to a third place finish in our maiden season in the Highland League - ending the campaign with 11 consecutive league wins.

Progress continued into 2022/23, with City starting the season with 8 straight league wins. City have only tasted defeat once in the Highland League this season and are currently in title contention with just 5 matches remaining.

Andy has focused on recruiting young, local talent where possible with the club currently boasting 4 Brechin-based players as we look to create stronger links with the local community.
