Brechin City FC can confirm that following the expiration of their contracts, defender Nathan Cooney and striker Botti Biabi will move on from the club.

Having initially joined on loan from Dundee United in the 2021/22 season, Cooney signed a permanent deal with the club last year and made 35 appearances in total last season.

Meanwhile, Biabi joined the club as a free agent in October last year and would be a regular upfront alongside the talismanic Grady McGrath. He made 29 appearances for City, netting 13 times in the process.

Both Nathan and Botti played an important part in City's title win last season and the club would like to wish them well for their future.
