The Club have bolstered their attacking options ahead of the new season with the addition of former Dundee United striker Stuart Heenan.

Stuart is a product of United's Academy and signed his first full-time contract with the Tannadice club at just 15 years of age.

The young forward has been training with the club since departing the Tangerines in the summer and has impressed in the pre-season friendlies against Arbroath and most recently Brechin Victoria last weekend where he netted a brace.

He now goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's Viaplay Cup tie against Livingston at Glebe Park.

Manager Andy Kirk commented, "We're delighted to get Stuart on board. He was released by Dundee United in the summer and although only 17 years of age, he's sharp and a very good finisher. He scored two great goals last weekend and he's shown that quality in training over the last couple of weeks.

"He fits the profile of player that we're trying to bring in - he's a goalscorer and a good addition to the front line. He scored a lot of goals for Dundee United at U18 level - he's an exciting prospect and we look forward to seeing how he develops over the course of the season."
