The Club is thrilled to announce that Ewan Loudon has penned a one-year extension to his contract to keep him at Brechin City until the summer of 2025.
Having initially signed from St Johnstone in August 2021, Ewan is now in his third season at City and has gone from strength to strength during that time.
The 19 year-old certainly played a major role in City's title win last season, scoring the crucial opening goal just four minutes from time in the title decider against Buckie which sparked jubilant scenes amongst the sizeable travelling support.
Playing in a more advanced position, Ewan has enjoyed an excellent start to the 2023/24 campaign netting 5 times in pre-season and he has followed that up with goals against Cove Rangers, Clyde and Formartine United.
Manager Andy Kirk commented, "We are delighted that Ewan has extended his contract with the Club. He has shown major signs of improvement and maturity over the last season and had a massive part to play in the league winning campaign along with scoring a vitally important goal away to Buckie.
"He has a fantastic attitude and has come back to pre-season in great shape. I'm excited to see him continue to develop and fulfil more of his potential again this season."
