New Manager Gavin Price will take to the dugout for the first time tomorrow evening as City welcome Keith to the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park (8pm kick off).
Price will be looking to get his tenure off to a winning start which would make it ten straight victories for a City side that moved to the top of the league following a 3-0 victory over Turriff United at the weekend.
Tomorrow's visitors have just two league wins to their name so far this season and currently sit in 15th place, albeit with games in hand over the sides immediately above them. Despite their league struggles, they progressed to the Highland League Cup semi-final where they eventually succumbed to Brora Rangers.
TEAM NEWS
City will continue to be without long term absentees Anthony McDonald and Kevin McHattie for tomorrow's fixture whilst Hamish Thomson is doubtful.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Speaking as Brechin City Manager for the first time, Gavin Price said,
"I'm delighted to be here and it's great to be involved at such a positive club. The situation is I've come to a team that has real confidence and a structure to it.
"I went to the match against Turriff at the weekend and I have a good idea of how they play and what the strengths are. Obviously having Simmy still at the club as well is important as it gives you that sense of continuity in the first week or so and he'll have a better handle of what players can and can't do.
"I'm really looking forward to the game tomorrow and I'll meet the players tonight at training. We'll do a session and although there won't be wholesale changes, hopefully I can do little bits to improve the team. We want to get as strong as we possibly can.
"The goal is to get the win tomorrow night and if the players perform as they have been then there is no reason why we can't do that. I've done my homework on Keith and in this league you've got to be 100% at it."
