Match Preview | Brechin City v Banks O' Dee - By Steven Mew

The top two in the Breedon Highland League go head to head tomorrow afternoon as City welcome Banks O' Dee to the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park (kick off 2pm).

City are the only side to have inflicted defeat on Banks O' Dee in the league this season, with the Aberdeen side sitting just a single point behind City in the table albeit having played two games more.

Last time out, only a last gasp equaliser from Nairn County denied Banks O' Dee a 5th straight league win in an entertaining 3-3 draw. City meanwhile will be looking to continue where they left off following a 5-0 victory over Huntly.

TEAM NEWS
City will continue to be without Anthony McDonald whilst Danny Handling has struggled with illness this week and will be assessed prior to tomorrow's match. Hamish Thomson, who missed the victory over Huntly, has trained and is making good progress. Otherwise Gavin Price will have the rest of his squad to choose from.

MANAGERS COMMENTS
City were out of action last weekend with the fixture up at Brora falling victim to a waterlogged pitch. Manager Gavin Price commented, "Despite the postponement, t's been helpful to be able to work with the players an extra week - they have have knuckled down and trained hard again this week. We're looking forward to tomorrow's match - it's going to be another hard fixture but we're in good shape to take them on."
