MANAGERS COMMENTS
Looking back at the match against Alloa Athletic at the weekend, Manager Patrick Cregg said, "I didn't think there was much between the sides. We were on top up until we gave away the penalty which gave them a lift. We went in at half time a goal down and it was pivotal that we got the next goal. Our quality of play was good but then we gave up the second goal and once the third goal went in I thought the game got really stretched and there were lots of spaces for them, but we managed to get a brilliant goal back. It was a brilliant goal with a bit of magic down the side from Loudon, Dayle's touch and Marc's finish.

"My only disappointment that towards the end of the game we got a bit ragged back to front but overall I am not despondent and I thought the lads equipped themselves really well and the effort was there but we did tire but there are reasons for that. I thought for large parts of the game we went toe to toe with them but we could have worked their keeper more.

"It's gut-wrenching getting beat but they are a good team that are two divisions above us and they will be there or thereabouts in terms of the playoffs. The scoreline was disappointing but there were loads of positives and I'm excited for the start of the league season.

"We've had 3 really tough fixtures in a week and it's difficult to stay at a high level throughout and I feel the lads have done that. I'll definitely be looking to make changes for East Fife on Tuesday."
