City have racked up the miles in recent weeks with 5 away fixtures in the last 6, but it's back to home comforts tomorrow afternoon as Huntly visit the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park.
TEAM NEWS
With the exception of Ryan Ferguson who misses out with a hamstring injury, Manager Patrick Cregg will have the rest of his squad to choose from.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Looking back at the stalemate against Fraserburgh last weekend, Manager Patrick Cregg commented,
"I think a draw was a fair result to be honest and I don't think either team had a lot of chances. I thought we started the game really well but probably started to lose our way within the game. We obviously had a good chance through Dayle early in the second half but it wasn't to be and they also came close in the first half as well."
A couple of talking points in the first half were the yellow cards issued to Fraserburgh's Aidan Sopel and City's Brad McKay with opposition sides calling for a red card. Patrick added,
"The challenge on Dayle was overly aggressive but the referee only deemed it as a yellow and there's nothing we can do about that. On Brad's challenge - I think it would have been harsh to send him off as I felt we had covering players but I can see why Fraserburgh would appeal for it."
City were followed by a healthy travelling support at Bellslea Park and Patrick was appreciative of the backing - he said,
"The support was excellent up at Fraserburgh and that's really important. At the end of the day people are paying their hard-earned money and the players are aware of that. We have an obligation to the town to give our utmost for it."
Looking forward to the league fixture against Huntly tomorrow, Patrick added,
"We've played nine competitive games already which is an awful lot so it's been good to have a couple of sessions this week and go over a few things as a group on how we want to play. It's also allowed us to have a little bit of recovery time.
"It's another tough game for us but we need to make Glebe Park an absolute fortress and we need to make sure teams turning up don't enjoy the experience of playing us. We want the opposition to be going back on the bus saying thankfully that's over. That's easier said than done but is what we have to try and do."
