Steven Mew
City are back on the road for the first time in nearly a month tomorrow afternoon as we travel to face Lossiemouth in the Breedon Highland League.
TEAM NEWS
Skipper Euan Spark will return to the squad after missing the Highland League Cup fixture last week through suspension. Scott Logan is also back training and will likely return the squad meaning Anthony McDonald is City's only definite absentee.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Reflecting on the Highland League Cup victory over Inverurie Locos last week, Manager Patrick Cregg said, "It was a tough game and there wasn't loads in it - we probably edged it over the piece but wouldnt say we were dominant. We started with three 17 year olds and an 18 year old so credit to them - it's not easy and I was happy with them all and happy to win the tie. I just wanted to give them the chance to play and it was an ideal situation to get the younger players in and also our two new signings.
"We felt we could freshen things up but we were still treating it as a very important game and one that we wanted to win and ultimately the lads achieved that objective so I'm proud of them. We had to dig in at 11 v 10 and I felt we did that. Isaac's shot stopping was excellent and he also did well coming for crosses too."
