For the first time in over a month, City will look to return to league action tomorrow afternoon as we welcome Fraserburgh to the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park (2pm kick off).
Despite the Broch having a disappointing season by their standards, currently sitting in 10th position in the Breedon Highland League, they will doubtless provide a stern test as ever for City tomorrow afternoon.
TEAM NEWS
City will be without the services of Anthony McDonald and Craig Tosh, however Dayle Robertson will return from suspension after missing the cup fixture against Banks O' Dee last time out.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Reflecting on the last fixture against Banks O' Dee, Manager Patrick Cregg commented,
"The conditions weren't great. I thought before they scored the opening goal we had the better opportunities and we were probably unfortunate not to be 1-0 up. The cross for their goal, once it beats the first man it always has a chance of going in and the goalkeeper didn't seen it until late.
"At half time I still fancied us but we didn't do enough and we deserved to lose the game. It's all about moving on from it now.
"We took the opportunity to give minutes to some of our younger players who we want to develop and we have a duty of care to do our best by them. I'm a big advocate of giving players opportunities regardless of what age they are. There were other players who featured who haven't played as often too and of course Cillian Sheridan made his debut so there were positives on the night."

PREVIOUS MEETING
Fraserburgh 0-0 Brechin City - 10 August 2024
There was nothing to separate the sides early in the season as they played out a stalemate at Bellslea. Both sides struggled to create much in the way of clear cut opportunities in a hard-fought encounter.
SPONSORSHIP
Our match sponsors tomorrow are Jim Craig and Centurion Group whilst the match ball has been sponsored by Brechin Bowling Club. Leading out the City side tomorrow will be our mascot Kai Ferguson!
