MANAGERS COMMENTS
Reflecting on the 1-1 draw against Fraserburgh last weekend, Manager Patrick Cregg commented, "Before Fraserburgh scored their equaliser I felt we could have been 2-0, perhaps 3-0 ahead and we certainly created most of the chances over the course of the 90 minutes.
“Our performance was very good and it was unfortunate and disappointing we didn’t manage to secure all three points. It did look like a foul on Brad just prior to them scoring."

PREVIOUS MEETING
Brechin City 3-2 Huntly - 26th October 2024
The last meeting between the sides saw City advance to the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup in a pulsating encounter at the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park. The visitors had a numerical disadvantage for much of the game with Sam Robertson seeing red in the first half whilst Ross Still was also given his marching orders for violent conduct late on.
Ewan Loudon opened the scoring midway through the first half, only for Angus Grant to equalise with a spectacular effort from range on the half hour mark. Robertson saw red for Huntly before Dayle Robertson restored the advantage from the spot before the break, however the visitors fought back again through Callum Murray after 77 minutes.
City were awarded a penalty 9 minutes from time, with Ross Still also seeing red for violent conduct. Dayle Robertson duly dispatched his second spot kick of the game to send City through to the next round.
