Match Preview | Brechin City v Buckie Thistle - By Steven Mew

Following a share of the spoils last weekend, City will be looking to get back to winnings ways as we welcome Buckie Thistle to the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park tomorrow afternoon.

TEAM NEWS
City will welcome back Kevin McHattie to the squad after missing out through illness last weekend. Anthony McDonald, Euan Spark and Craig Tosh miss out through injury.

MANAGERS COMMENTS
Reflecting on the 2-2 draw against Banks O' Dee last week, Manager Patrick Cregg commented, "From our point of view I thought our goals were really good. Second half Cillian obviously missed a big moment at 2-1 to put the game to bed but we didn't take it and they obviously went on to score at the other end. I thought Cillian was excellent in the game and was a real presence as an outball. He's obviously scored earlier and he's had a long enough career to know that these things happen and he's strong enough mentally not to let that affect him.

"I thought the second half was bitty and there weren't really any spells in the second half where we dominated and Banks O' Dee probably held the better territory. I was disappointed overall not to win the game but there were certainly positives to take from it also."

Marc Scott played a crucial role for City in a more defensive role with Patrick adding, "It was a late decision for him to play at right back as Kevin McHattie had to pull out. Marco suits that role as he gets high and wide and I thought he did well with a goal and an assist and thought he defended well on the whole."
