Kieran Sweeney Signs

Brechin City is pleased to announce the signing of highly-rated defender Kieran Sweeney from East of Scotland Premier side Jeanfield Swifts.
The 21 year-old has put pen to paper on a contract which will keep him at the Club until the summer of 2027 and he will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's trip to face Rothes in the Breedon Highland League.
Manager Patrick Cregg commented, "Kieran is a footballing centre back who is good in the air and uses the ball really well. We see him as a player that can progress and be an asset for Brechin City, both short term and long term.
"Logan (McConachie) knows him well, as does Dayle Robertson who played along with him at Jeanfield. He was on our radar in the summer and we're delighted to get him on board."
