Match Preview | Brechin City v Clachnacuddin - By Steven Mew

City head into the start of a busy run of fixtures in March as we play host to Clachnacuddin in the Breedon Highland League tomorrow afternoon.

It will be the second time in the space of a month that the sides have faced each other, with City recording an impressive 4-2 victory over the Lilywhites at the start of February.

TEAM NEWS
City will continue to be without the injured Euan Spark, Anthony McDonald and Craig Tosh whilst Ewan Loudon will serve a one-match suspension following his red card last weekend. New signing Mitchell Findlay will be included in the matchday squad.

MANAGERS COMMENTS
Speaking following the 3-2 victory over Rothes last weekend, Manager Patrick Cregg commented, "Once again, we’d enough chances to win five games. Towards the end we had a man sent off and Rothes pulled a goal back which to be honest I thought was offside by a considerable margin.

“But I have to give the players credit for the resilience they showed towards the end because we knew it was a game we had to win.

“It was just so frustrating that our victory wasn’t more emphatic given the number of goal-scoring opportunities we had.

“It was important that we got a victory after three successive draws so let’s embrace it and go on a winning run.”
