City head into their penultimate league fixture of the season tomorrow afternoon as we welcome Nairn County to the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park.
The task ahead is quite clear for City - in order to pip Brora Rangers to the Highland League championship they must pick up more points than the Cattachs over the next two matches, given their sizeable goal difference.
City will be entirely focussed on the job in hand and look to finish the season with two home victories, and hope that results can go for them elsewhere.
TEAM NEWS
City will continue to be without the injured trio of Anthony McDonald, Kevin McHattie and Dayle Robertson. Craig Tosh returned to the matchday squad last weekend and is likely to be included again following his return from injury.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Speaking on the 4-1 victory over Formartine United last weekend, Interim Manager Ray McKinnon commented,
“I was delighted to come away with the three points. We always knew that this was a tough place to come to and the windy conditions made things awkward for the players.
“However, the boys put on a really professional performance and did their jobs really well which I was very pleased about.
“We spoke to the players before the game about being really switched on for the 90 minutes and they certainly took that message on board and I thought that they fully deserved to win."

LAST TIME OUT
City picked up their first league win at North Lodge Park with an impressive 4-1 victory over Formartine United last weekend. Nairn County were just in action on Wednesday as they saw off the challenge of Turriff United with a 2-0 win at Station Park.
PREVIOUS MEETING
Nairn County 0-3 Brechin City - 3 August 2024
City's first league game away from home this season was at Station Park as they sweeped aside the 'Wee County' with a fine performance.
At a venue where City have found it difficult in recent years, there was little doubt as to where the 3 points were heading and in truth the scoreline could have been even more convincing. City's goals came from Dayle Robertson, Anthony McDonald and Ewan Loudon.
SPONSORSHIP
Tomorrow's match has been sponsored by AWH Chartered Certified Accountants whilst the matchball has been sponsored by Spaces Taylored. Leading out the side will be our mascots Lewis & Hannah McKendrick!
