Following a strong end to the season with 8 wins from 9 games whilst in Interim charge, the Club is pleased to confirm the permanent appointment of Ray McKinnon as Manager.
The run included an impressive 2-0 victory away from home against eventual Champions Brora Rangers and a 4-1 victory over Formartine United - City's first league win at North Lodge Park.
Now in his second spell in charge of Brechin City, he managed the Club previously between 2012-2015 where he led City to two promotion play-off finishes in League 1 before leaving to join Raith Rovers.
He went on to have stints in charge of Dundee United, Greenock Morton, Falkirk, Queens Park and Forfar Athletic.
With his backroom staff to be announced in due course, Ray will now be tasked with re-building ahead of the new season with the continued target of being the first side to gain promotion back to the SPFL.
Chairman Kevin Mackie praised Ray's impact since taking charge, adding, "It was a unanimous decision by the board to offer him the Manager's role permanently and to give him as much time as possible to rebuild the squad and prepare for next season."
