Ahead of our pre-season schedule starting on Saturday against Dundee United, City have completed the signing of goalkeeper Ross Matthews from Montrose FC on a season-long loan deal.
The highly rated stopper began his career in Dundee’s youth system before making the move to Links Park in 2018 where his impressive development in their academy saw him break into the first team at the end of the 2022/23 season.
Manager Ray McKinnon commented,
"Ross is someone we have been looking to bring in. We know him well and he will be a great asset to the team. He is very good with the ball at his feet and also an excellent shot stopper."
