Rowan Weir Signs

Brechin City FC is pleased to announce the signing of young goalkeeper Rowan Weir on a short-term contract until January.
Rowan has been on trial with the Club in recent weeks and has featured in our matchday squad across the last five fixtures.
The 19-year-old was part of the Heart of Midlothian Academy before moving on to Spartans Under-20s. Most recently, he made a number of appearances for Carnoustie Panmure in the Midlands League at the tail end of last season.
Manager Ray McKinnon commented, "It's great to have Rowan join us officially after a successful trial period. He has shown a great attitude and desire and will provide competition going forward."
