Brechin City are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Calvin Beattie from Dundee United, with the young midfielder joining until the end of the season.

Beattie has been with Dundee United from a very young age, joining the club’s academy at around seven years old and progressing through the youth ranks during his time at Tannadice. Ahead of the 2025/26 season, he was rewarded for his development by signing his first professional contract with the Premiership side.

The talented youngster has already gained valuable senior experience this season, spending the first half of the campaign on loan with Championship side Airdrieonians.

Calvin now links up with Brechin City as he looks to continue his progression and gain further minutes at the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park for the remainder of the season.
