Brechin fans will have to wait until the local derby with Forfar on December 27th for their next game. Dumbarton declined Brechin request to play the postponed fixture from this coming Saturday on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, preferring instead to wait until the start of March to play the fixture.
Whilst dissapointed with this decision the Club has no right of appeal as SFL regulations prevent a Club being forced to play a postponed fixture between the Saturday before Christmas and the last Saturday in February.
