The club have recently completed the signing of youngster Matt Flynn who played very well against Dundee United in the Forfarshire Cup. Matt, previously with Dundee United, nearly capped his first game in a Brechin jersey with a goal against his former club, only to be denied by the woodwork.

City manager O'Neill said: "Matt is just 18 years old and he was on the bench today for the cup match against Queens Park. It's up to him to go on and provde he can do a job for us and the early signs are encouraging."
