Scottish Cup Draw - By Steven Mew

Action vs Dundee
Action v Dundee Last Season

If Brechin are to overcome Cowdenbeath in their 3rd round replay, they will travel to face either Dundee or Queen of the South in the next round. Not the best of draws for City but it once again gives City the chance to progress.

Dundee and Queens played out a 1-1 draw at Dens Park on Saturday and they will play each other again on the same night City take on the Blue Brazil in the replay. (Tuesday 16th January, 7:45pm kick off).

In the other ties, highland league side Deveronvale have been drawn at home to Dick Campbell's Partick Thistle, and having already knocked out two senior sides in the shape of Montrose and Elgin City, the 'Vale will be hoping to shock the Jags.

Morton have been rewarded with a trip to Fir Park to take on Motherwell after beating Kilmarnock at home in the last round.

Last years winners Heart of Midlothian face a trip to East End Park to take on Dunfermline, who were the conquerors of Glasgow giants Rangers this afternoon.

The full draw is as follows:

Motherwell v Greenock Morton
Dunfermline v Heart of Midlothian
Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Dundee United or St Mirren
Falkirk v St Johnstone or Ayr United
Deveronvale v Partick Thistle
Dundee or Queen of the South v Cowdenbeath or Brechin
Aberdeen or Hibernian v Gretna
Livingston v Celtic

Ties are due to be played on Saturday, 3rd February and Sunday, 4th February.
