After a relatively quiet transfer window, City gaffer Michael O'Neill has snapped up free agent Chris Hughes to strengthen his playing squad.

Hughes was on the books of Cowdenbeath earlier in the season and despite only being 17 years of age, he made 7 appearances and scored 2 goals from defence.

Those two goals came in the CIS Cup match at home to East Stirling and the young defender was duly awarded man of the match.

Standing at 6 foot 1, Chris is a real presence in defence and he will provide competition for places as City look to guarantee a play-off spot.
