Ian Campbell has now been in charge of Brechin for just over 2 weeks. He has shared his thoughts on how things are going so far and what he’s up to at the moment with the official web site.

He said: “I am now fully settled into the job and enjoying it very much.

“I am looking forward to the coming weeks in the season. We got an excellent result at Stranraer – moving us to the top of the league. It is now up to the players to keep us there for the rest of the season.

“I am fairly active at the moment, what with the transfer window being open. I am obviously delighted with the early contribution of my first signing Stuart Callaghan – who scored a cracking goal to win the game at Stranraer, on his debut.

“But I am fortunate in the calibre of players we have at the moment. They are all very focussed on the job that is ahead of them in the remainder of the season. There is therefore no rush for me to go out and sign players for the sake of it. I will only bring in people I feel are good enough to get into our starting line-up.”
