COMMITTEE STATEMENT
- By
SECRETARY
In the course of the past week's turbulent events and the Club's removal from the Scottish Cup, the Management Committee has had several meetings.
In the course of these, Chairman, Mr K Ferguson, offered his resignation.
The Management Committee unanimously felt unable to accept Mr Ferguson's resignation.
Prior to becoming Chairman, Mr Ferguson served as Club Secretary for over twelve years, devoting many hours of his time to the smooth running of the Club.
The Management Committee feel that Mr Ferguson still has much to offer the Club and make a substantial contribution to Brechin City F.C.'s future.
The Management Committe are conducting a thorough review of the Club's operating procedures with a view to clarifying resposibilities and management controls.
The Club would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all season ticket holders, supporters and sponsors for the unfortunate course of events and can assure all that lessons have been learnt.
Brechin City F.C. must now focus on the future and we would call on all supporters to get behind the Management and Players as we strive to achieve a place in the promotion play offs.
