Raith Rovers 1-1 Brechin City

Raith Rovers missed a chance to secure a play-off spot in Division Two as they were held to a draw by promotion rivals Brechin City at Stark's Park.

The visitors had taken the lead when goalkeeper Keiran Renton mis-kicked his clearance and striker Iain Diack slotted the ball home.

Rovers went close when an Andy Tod header came off the crossbar. Brechin's Richard Walker and Kevin Byers both had chances to secure the vital 3 points

The Kirkcaldy side dominated after the break and Graham Weir volleyed home an impressive equaliser.

But fifth-top Brechin's draw keeps them six points behind with two games left.
