BRECHIN City have once again had a great response from Match Sponsors for the new season. The club would like to pass on their thanks to every firm who has taken up this option for the new season.

At present (Sunday, July 6), there are only three remaining spaces available for Match Sponsorship. These are against East Fife on July 26, Alloa Athletic on October 4 and Stranraer in what could be a vital last game of the season on May 2nd.

Availability can change at short notice, so if you or your company would like further information on the Match Sponsor's package only, contact Steve Mitchell on (07981 238 105).

The club will also be operating much extended Lounge facilities at Glebe Park. The 1983 Lounge, sponsored once again by local firm Ferguson Oliver is taking shape at present and will provide patrons with much extended hospitality facilities and a greater choice in pre-match and post-match entertainment.

Club vice-chairman, Martin Smith, said he wished to pass on the club's thanks to all pre-booked match sponsors and to the existing lounge sponsors in the new facility.

"The response has been excellent once again," said Martin and we wish to take this opportunity of thanking those who have once again put their money where their mouths are and back Brechin City FC in such great fashion.

"We are also very excited about the on-going development in the new lounge and we want to thank Mike Ferguson of Ferguson-Oliver for his continued support as Mike will be the first sponsor of the 1983 Lounge.

"It's also vital we mention people like Ken Reid, George and Scott McMillan, Ian Ingram, Calum McLennan and Gary Ross, some of whom are giving up their free time free of charge so this project can succeed.

"It's 25 years since our memorable second division championship win and the committee believe this is a great way to remember the likes of Ian Fleming, Derek Neilson, Davie Watt, Charlie Elvin and Ian Paterson."
